Our project partner Turning Earth has announced a strategic partnership agreement with Covanta Energy. The 10-year agreement calls for Turning Earth to build, own and operate an integrated organics recycling facility in central Connecticut to which Covanta will divert organic waste for beneficial reuse in partnership with municipalities and commercial customers.
The facility will be powered by the Aikan™ Technology from the Danish company Solum group/Aikan. This is a big step in realizing the ambitious goal of exporting the Aikan Technology to US in our project supported by Markedsmodningsfonden. Acquiro takes part in the project together with Aikan, Turning Earth, the Consulate General of Denmark and 1st Mile and our role is to facilitate the management and project processes and ensure participatory innovation and communication with the stakeholders.
